3 Reasons Why Your Mindset Is Stopping You From Attacting Clients
Did you know that success is 80% mindset and 20% strategy? No? Chances are if you’re not getting the results you want in your business it’s your mindset that needs looking at. Here are 3 reasons where your mindset may be costing you - even if you don’t think it is.
3 REASONS WHY YOUR MINDSET IS STOPPING YOU FROM ATTRACTING CLIENTS (EVEN IF YOU THINK IT ISN'T).
After completing thousands of hours of Mindset Coaching with many clients, I see the same things hurting people in their business that they usually aren’t even aware of and in fact, they don’t even THINK their mindset is hindering them.
1) Slow Decision Making/Overthinking.
Most of us know what we have to do. We don't always do it. Taking too long to make a decision and/or totally overthinking decisions is costing you.
When we do this we delay our goals, allow uncertainty to creep in & create inertia rather than MOMENTUM in our business. It can be something as simple as overthinking a decision to invest in that coach you know you want to work with, letting the "what ifs" get in the way, through to overthinking your message.
The fact is making decisions is a skill that you want to develop as a new entrepreneur. Slow decision making holding you back? Check out this blog to help you speed things up.
2) Giving their power away.
This is a big one. A lot of women are looking for the magic bullet, the quick fix or for someone to "save them" e.g. looking to their Coach to provide the quick fix that is going to help them build their business overnight.
Bottom line is that there is a lot of victim energy in this mindset & you don't need me to tell you it doesn't serve you.
Instead of looking to be saved, ask yourself what YOU need to do to show up as an empowered and confident CEO who takes control of her destiny & then take the strategic decision to align with the mentor who can help you with the stage of business that you are at NOW.
It's like getting the right sherpa to show you up the mountain, they are guiding you, helping you avoid the pitfalls & taking you the best route.
They are not picking you up & carrying you up the mountain which will likely finish both of you off!
3) A Poor Money Mindset
A poor money mindset is a huge obstacle for many women.
So many of us grew up with a bad "money story" and we carry that baggage with us. "Money is scarce", "money doesn't grow on trees" "debt is bad".
These stories hinder us & block the flow of money & abundance.
Money isn't good or bad. Money is energy and energy is currency. It has no meaning except that which we give it.
Shifting how you view money changes everything & allows you to become a vessel to receive it. Ready to shift your mindset around money to attract more clients and abundance to you? Read the blog post around shifting your money mindset and charging your worth.
Finally to summarise, if you're working hard in your business but not -getting the results you desire check in with your mindset and in particular the three areas above to see what needs to be addressed.
And if you're ready to shift out of the fear and limiting beliefs and move forward with purpose in your business then get in touch to book a Business Builder call with me to find out how I can help you get your business off the ground and start attracting your ideal clients to you.

5 Steps to Overcome Comparisonitis As An Online Entrepreneur
Comparisonitis is impossible to avoid when you are an online entrepreneur what with all the time spent on Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms that often just show the highlight reel.
Learn 5 Steps to Overcome the Comparisonitis as an online entrepreneur here.
5 STEPS TO OVERCOME COMPARISONITIS AS AN ONLINE ENTREPRENEUR
Let's talk about dealing with comparison as an online Coach.
It's so easily done right?!
After all, you're seeing all those success stories on the internet and it's making you doubt yourself and let's be honest it's triggering you a little.
You know the one's I'm talking about. Suzy superguru grew her business overnight with 6 followers on her list.
So you try and figure out what she did. After all success leaves clues right!
And before you know it you're back in comparison feeling totally inferior.
I can totally relate. I've done this a "few" times.
But let me tell you this. All that comparisonitis is not serving you. Wishing you were her is not serving you.
You don't need to reverse engineer her funnel.
You don't need to hack her marketing.
You don't need to ahem "borrow" her web copy to find out the exact words she's using.
As Theodore Roosevelt says "Comparison is the Thief of Joy".
You know that though right?
“Comparison is the thief of joy”
If despite this, the comparisonitis is getting in your way and stopping you from moving ahead with your business then consider these simple tips to help you shift out of it.
1) Don't Compare Your Chapter 1 to Someone Else's Chapter 21.
Instead compare yourself to where you were yesterday.
When you are looking around comparing your results to everyone else's you don't always know the full back story. That person might have more experience than you, they may have invested more, they may have had more support, they may have a better belief system that allows them to get them those results.
None of these things mean that you can't get there too when the time is right for you. Resist the temptation to compare with those that are way ahead of you and instead compare yourself to where YOU were yesterday.
2) Stay In Your Own Lane.
Now that you've ditched the comparisonitis with those on a different chapter. It's time to get laser focused on your own path.
What is it that you want? Why do you want to create your business?
What does YOUR dream business look like?
What do you want to create for yourself?
You see when you get clear on these things you might realise that it's very different to what someone else wants in any case.
Set SMART goals for what you want to create. SMART means Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time Bound.
Then break down your big goal into actionable steps and take the first step that will take you towards your goals.
3) Declutter Anything That Doesn't Make You Feel Good and Reduce the Consumption.
When we are working towards our goals it's important to reduce the noise so that you can move forward with focus towards your own goals.
This might mean a social media detox. Or clearing your inbox of the million and one subscriptions that you've got right now.
Consider also doing a declutter of your physical space and release anything affecting you mentally and emotionally.
Clutter is congealed energy and when you release this energy you open yourself up to possibility and create a clearer path to your goals.
Journal prompt: What do I have in my life that is not serving me right now that I need to clear?
4) See Other’s Success As Evidence of Your Possibilities.
Instead of comparing yourself to the person that you think is so much further ahead allow yourself to see her as evidence of YOUR possibilities.
Yes, the fact that someone else is doing it means it's possible for you.
It's not a threat
Or a trigger
Or something to feel bad about if you don't allow it to be.
So instead of comparing and feeling inferior shift to finding the inspiration and lessons in their stories. That's your evidence it's possible for you too.
And then focus on what makes YOU unique, stay in your own lane and serve the people you are meant to serve and watch things come together.
5) Enjoy Your Journey and Be Present For It.
So often we can want to be somewhere other than where we are now. To be further along. To reach our goals quicker but when we do this we are not honouring our own personal journey and the growth along the way.
Instead of comparing give gratitude for where you are at RIGHT now and decide to see what is great about that instead.
Take a second now to think of 5 things that you are grateful for right now - it could be something simple like a sunny day (or a rainy one), the food you have to eat, the wins that you've already achieved, clients you have already served, clarity gained. Go for it and bask in those good feelings.
Comparisonitis is inevitable but we can choose how to respond to it and not be overcome by it.

Do I need a website for my coaching biz?
If you’re a new coach or entrepreneur who is ready to launch their business, but have no idea how to get your first set of clients and you're about to go down the path of getting a website then STOP. You don't actually NEED a website to start attracting your ideal clients at the beginning. Read the post to find out more.
HOW TO GET COACHING CLIENTS WITHOUT A WEBSITE
You don’t NEED a website when starting out as a Coach and it’s more than possible to get your first clients without one.
Now I get it.
You may FEEL like you need a website to legitimise your business but the fact is in the beginning it can be a big distraction to what you should be doing - getting your name out there and attracting clients.
One of the big misconceptions a lot of new business owners have is falling into the old "build it and they will come trap".
This is especially the case with a website. So many new entrepreneurs spend hours on a site and neglect to work on the things that will actually get the clients and changing the beliefs that will stop that happening.
I know this because I was the same. For my first business (in legal recruitment) I spent an eye watering amount on a website. Ironically I didn't need it and my first five figure client in my second month of business didn't even look at my site.
And to make things worse, I didn't even continue in that business long term!
And it's true of most of my current clients. I don't think one of them looked at my site and I have helped my clients get THEIR first clients without having their website in place at the beginning.
You see, unless your site is specifically something that your niche requires (some niches do still require a website) you don't need to be wasting time and money on it. Your website isn't going to get you clients at this stage as a new Coach/Service provider.
Instead focus on the things that are getting in the way of you getting results (usually your beliefs) and work on getting the following in order.
1️⃣ Shifting into a positive mindset and creating the mindset, self-belief and identity as a successful business owner. Read my blog on the 4 business blocks that are stopping you in your business right now as a female entrepreneur and how to shift those.
2️⃣ Work your money mindset and creating the belief that money can come in ways other than you've been led to believe. Read my blog on shifting your money mindset.
3️⃣ Clarity on your ideal client (who is that specific person that will ultimately land on the site rather than writing to anyone and everyone). When you don’t have clarity around this, you are wasting your time writing copy on your site that speaks to no-one in particular. Ideal client clarity is an essential first step when starting an online coaching business. Download my free course for in depth training on this.
4️⃣ Get clear on HOW your service helps solve those struggles. How will your service help your ideal client? What is the transformation that they can expect from working with you? Take some time to get clear on this and learn how to communicate it in a way that speaks to your ideal client directly. Download my free course for in depth training on this.
5️⃣ Getting comfortable and visible as a business owner, start SELLING and not seeing that as bad, sleazy or icky in some way. Read my blog on overcoming visibility blocks in your business.
6️⃣ An aligned lead generation strategy to attract those ideal clients. What is your main way to attract your ideal clients to you? Do you have a lead generation strategy in place that works for you, your lifestyle and your personality?
7️⃣ Work with a Coach on the above to help you shift the beliefs and also create an aligned strategy. Working with a Coach on these areas is invaluable and can prevent lots of wasted time, energy and money.
And that's exactly what I help my clients with.
Not only will you start showing up as a confident CEO, eliminating all the BS and resistance that hold you back, you will know exactly how to attract your ideal clients.
No more guessing game.
Book a call with me here to put in place your PERSONALISED strategy so that you can get started now and start attracting those ideal clients ASAP.

How To Overcome Procrastination On Your Business Journey
Still stuck when it comes to achieving those big goals? In this blog about overcoming procrastination Tasmin shares some simple tips for overcoming procrastination so that you can get out of your own way and reach those big business goals.
HOW TO OVERCOME PROCRASTINATION ON YOUR BUSINESS JOURNEY
This week the subject of procrastination has come up a fair bit. I've spoken to ladies who have a deep desire to get going with their businesses but despite this find themselves not doing the work they know they have to do. Then beating themselves up afterwards and questioning whether they are good enough or “have what it takes”.
Procrastination is never that simple.
We KNOW what we should be doing but for some reason, we don't do it. Then from there, we can beat up on ourselves and before we know it we are putting this label on ourselves as a procrastinator which doesn't serve us. Does this sound familiar?
If that's you, then here are some tips for overcoming the procrastination so that you can finally make progress and create that business that you desire.
1) It all starts with mindset.
If you’ve been around here for any length of time you will know that I have a “mindset first” approach.
Here’s the thing, negative thoughts and procrastination go hand-in-hand.
So start with shifting the thoughts behind the procrastinaton. Begin by reframing self-deprecating, blame-filled thoughts into empowering, positive ones. Life is much easier if you’re not beating yoursef up about things all the time. So start by giving yourself a break and changing your self talk around procrastination. If your self-talk becomes positive, you will start to believe it. And after a while, as you experience the joys of successful habits, you will find yourself less inclined to procrastinate.
2) Identify what's REALLY going on for you.
Take time to assess where things are really coming from and do some introspection around why you are procrastinating.
Why do you really think you are not doing the tasks you want to do?
Why are you resisting it?
What are you afraid will or won’t happen if you do this task?
Often when you look deeper, there is some self - doubt, fears, self - limiting beliefs or a lack of a plan in place.
Once you identify why you are procrastinating ask yourself where does it come from? What would change if I overcame it? What would it mean to have the life I desire?
Often we put off the very tasks that will have the biggest impact just as we are about to have a breakthrough; actually, start that business, finally get visible etc.
Sometimes we subconsciously self - sabotage which keeps us stuck. Read Gay Hendricks book The Big Leap to learn how we can self sabotage ourselves just as things are getting good. In this book he talks about the Upper Limit problem which may shed some light on why you sabotage yourself just as things appear to be getting good.
3) Take Other Things Off Your To-Do List
Often the source of procrastination can simply be overwhelm. When faced with a mountain of tasks to work through it can lead to not doing anything. When exhaustion and overwhelm are contributing to procrastination, take other, LESS critical tasks or activities off your to-do list. Do it immediately, then take a short break – perhaps a cup of your favorite tea – and get back to the overwhelming task.
You may be surprised at how less-overwhelming it seems, giving you the impetus to move forward again without the ankle-weights of those extra tasks or confusion. Bottom line, get vigilant about the tasks on your to-do list and whether they deserve to be there.
4). Discard Perfectionism
People who are perfectionists are prone to putting things off. They become overwhelmed with the fear that they won’t produce exceptional results, but perfectionism doesn’t result in extraordinary results: Ninety-nine percent of the time, it just reduces efficiency and induces paralysis.
It’s important to realize that getting the job DONE is more important than doing it perfectly: prioritising what is important and building forward momentum is what to focus on.
If perfectionism is your problem, give yourself permission to let go a little and get it done.
5) Don’t Beat Yourself Up
One thing procrastinators are prone to doing is blaming themselves for being ‘weak.’ Drowning in guilt is a sure-fire way to invite yourself to hide.
Forgive yourself. Banish shame. Lose the guilt. And lose the label too.
Stop calling yourself a ‘procrastinator, and pinning yourself with an unwanted label’ and focus instead on moving forward (even if it's small steps). Get support and accountability to help you reach milestones on your way so that you can instead create habits and behaviours that set you up for success.
If you are routinely labelling yourself a procrastinator then that is how you will show up.
We become what we believe and we have the power to create anything we desire. Be driven by the vision of what you want to create and avoid putting yourself in an unhelpful box that is difficult for you to break out of. You are a powerful creator capable of anything. Chose the label that reflects THAT version of you.
“The dread of doing a task uses up more time and energy than doing the task itself. ”
So there you have it. If you are routinely procrastinating use these tips to help you overcome the procrastination and create better habits when it comes to getting things done.
Finally take some time to connect with your WHY and your reason for wanting to make your business a success.
What’s the reason you want to make this a business a success.
What is your big vision for it?
What impact do you want to create with your work?
Take some time to journal on these questions and really connect with your vision. Then revisit these reflections daily to be more driven towards your vision than you are focused on your fear. This is HUGE when it comes to overcoming procrastination.
If you know that you are done with the stalling, second guessing and procrastination and are ready to take tangible steps to making your business a reality and attracting your dream clients to you then go ahead and book a Business Builder call with me to find out how I can help you with the accountability and support you need on your journey.

Why You Should Follow Your Dreams No Matter How Long It Takes
Do you have a big goal like starting your own business? But you're scared to get going because of how long it might take to accomplish that goal? I've got you. In this post I share how I overcame this exact stumbling block and the mindset shift that made it possible.
Why You Should Follow Your Dreams No Matter How Long It Takes
Have you ever wanted to do something but were worried about the time it would take?
And the prospect of putting that amount of time into it made you a little scared.
And maybe that thing had a bit (okay read A LOT) of uncertainty around it.
Me too. It's the reason I waited FIVE YEARS before starting my business. I knew for a long time that I wanted to be my own boss. I hated being stuck in an office, begging for permission for a day off, building someone else's dream and I really really hated being told what to do.
I can't help it. It's just the rebel in me!
But as my confidence dwindled in my corporate career, I was so intimidated by the amount of TIME making a change would take. Retraining, shifting emphasis, the uncertainty - it all seemed like it had such a long indefinite timeline attached to it.
One hot summer's day whilst sat in my Coach training, I heard the instructor say something really profound (an Earl Nightingale quote).
““Never give up on a dream because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway.””
"Never give up on a dream because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway."
It got me right where it was supposed to.
OF COURSE. THE TIME WILL PASS ANYWAY.
I had such a deep realisation.
Even if I decide to stay in this job that doesn't fulfil me the time is going to pass.
The days of my life will continue to count down.
I have to CHOOSE how I pass that time.
You know how you have those defining moments in your life, that seem low key at the time but give you a big old lesson and stay with you?
Well, this was one of them!
I knew I couldn't let this stop me and the time it takes would never be a limiting factor again.
I was reminded of this moment by one of my gorgeous clients recently.
We worked together last year and she sent me an amzing message about how much her life has changed in that time. She is doing her soul work, making an impact, growing her business.
All the things she dreamt of doing. She could have waited, delayed, postponed, made excuses but she didn't. She asked herself what the cost of staying the same was and got honest with the answer. "going round in circles, the same old junk".
That is not easy realisation and it takes courage and bravery to acknowledge that and DO something about it.
And whilst she achieved incredible things since we worked together the most important thing is that when she DECIDED she was no longer available to settle THAT'S when the shift happened.
She changed things the INSTANT she DECIDED to.
She set in motion the chain of events.
It boiled down to that one powerful decision. Everything else is the catalyst and result of that.
I see it in my clients and I saw it in myself.
When you decide you are not available for the drama, to settle, to live a mediocre life, to live life on autopilot that's when God/the Universe sees your courage and rewards you.
So if you're feeling stuck right now. If you're living a life of autopilot, feeling trapped in your corporate job, doing something that you're not passionate about then you can decide to change it today.
The time will pass anyway.
You can either choose more of the same.
Or this time next year you can be in a whole different place.
You choose.
If you're ready to overcome the fears and limiting beliefs getting in the way of you making a change and creating a business that you love then, let's talk. Book a Business Builder call with me and start making that change today.
In this powerful 30 minute call we get clear on your big vision, address the challenges in your way and put in place an action plan to make your business a reality. ⠀⠀⠀⠀

How to Get Over the Overwhelm and Get Quicker Results in Your Online Business
Starting an online business can be overwhelming. There is the tonne of strategies to follow, different business models and on top of that you have to figure out what works for you and your strengths and goals. Learn how to reduce some of the overwhelm and noise when it comes to starting an online business.
How to Get Over the Overwhelm and Get Quicker Results in Your Online Business
There’s no doubt that starting an Online Business can bring up a whole heap overwhelm.
There’s no doubt that starting an Online Business can bring up a whole heap overwhelm.
After all, there’s so much to learn, a tonne of conflicting advice and everyone selling you the magic answer - it’s easy to get overcome by shiny object syndrome and go down the rabbit of hole of overthinking and overwhelm. Before you know it, you’re spending hours in front of the computer but you’re no further along.
You THINK you're "working" on your business. You're learning a tonne, downloading all the freebies, you've consumed 10 webinars this week and countless podcasts.
But you're feeling more overwhelmed and confused by the day and starting to second guess and doubt yourself.
The problem is you're stuck in consumption over CREATION and it's making you feel inadequate, drowning out what YOU want and how best for you to run YOUR business that is unique to you.
If this sounds familiar but you’re ready to get moving then here’s how to reduce the overwhelm so that you can get clarity around your direction and right next steps. :-
1) Reduce the notice
You just can't watch a million different people sell a million different methods and expect to get clarity. Every person is selling you THEIR version of success and that's exactly what it is - THEIR version. Everyone has a different business model, strategy, background etc. Just because it's working for them doesn't mean it will for you. A random assortment of information is just confusing.
Unsubscribe, unfollow and delete anything not appropriate for where you are in your business RIGHT now.
2) Take away what isn’t necessary
Often we can become overwhelmed just by the sheer number of things we have on our to-do list. We say yes to everything and anyone because we don’t want to look bad and bite off more than we can chew so to speak.
Get into the habit of asking yourself whether the commitments that you are saying yes to support you in the life that you want to create and systematically take away what doesn’t fit that criteria.
Essentialism by Greg McKeown
Instead of making everything a priority and becoming overwhelmed look at what is truly essential for you to have in your life. A book that I loved that helped me with this a tonne is Essentialism by Greg Mckeown, The Disciplined Pursuit of Less.
The great thing about this book is that its lessons can be applied to both in business and life. Principles such as “less but better” can apply to your marketing strategies just as much as they can to social engagements. The same applies to the “power of a graceful no”, understanding trade-offs, taking responsibility to prioritise and crucially protecting your ability to do so by protecting your number one asset – you!
This is book is full of nuggets. So if you have tonnes of “stuff” going on at any one time and are doing way too much then this will help you realise the “unimportance of practically everything”.
As Richard Koch says

As Richard Koch says
““Most of what exists in the Universe – our actions and all other forces, resources and ideas, has little value and yields little results; on the other hand, a few things work fantastically well and have tremendous impact””
It’s time to get honest and take away the things in your schedule that have little or no impact on the bigger picture.
3) Listen to your inner voice
Now that you’ve reviewed and, where necessary, removed the things that are just noise and/or not essential to your goals you can finally hear yourself THINK and get some clarity.
Often the sheer volume of what you have going on reduces your ability to listen to your intuition. Now that the noise has lessened, it’s time to go within.
Take some time to go internally and connect with what YOUR message is.
Who can you help?
How do you help them?
Why is your service the no-brainer choice for YOUR ideal client?
What do you want your business to look like?
Why do you want to make this business a reality? (For an amazing insight into why clarity around your WHY is crucial listen to Simon Sinek’s TED Talk “Start WIth Why”.
Explore this in your journal and listen to your intuition and inner guidance. Get to know yourself and your desires.
4) Get to work
To help you get over the overwhelm reduce the time you spend in comsumption mode and instead spend your time on CREATION.
Creating your vision, creating what your ideal client needs, creating the next version of yourself.
Put in place powerful goals that are YOUR goals and then put the blinkers on start working towards them. The more you look externally for answers the less you’ll find them so being led by your vision is crucial.
And most importantly get the help that you need for the stage of business that you are at.
I help new entrepreneurs cut through the overwhelm and focus on the tasks that are going to move the needle in their business so that they can get quick results.
If you're ready to get over the overwhelm and know exactly which tasks to focus on to grow your business then book a Business Builder call with me to find out how I can help you. How to Get More Done In Less Time as a New Entrepreneur
Your time is your most valuable asset as a new entrepreneur and making sure you are as productive as possible is key. In this blog post we discuss how to leverage your time and maximise your productivity to get more done in less time. This is for you if you’ve ever got to the end of the day and asked “where did the time go?!”
How to Get More Done In Less Time as a New Entrepreneur
Are you working hours and hours on your business but getting nowhere?
Does the business that you started for freedom and flexibility look like the complete opposite of that right now?
Chances are its a mixture of inefficient working practises and focusing on the wrong things. I was the same before I realised I didn't want to set up another JOB for myself in my business.
Luckily you don't need to work harder, just smarter - by creating some simple shifts to ramp up your productivity and get quicker results.
When I implemented these strategies, my productivity skyrocketed, I got way more done in less time and focusing on only on the things that matter made a huge difference in both the bottom line and also how I felt.
Make no mistake your time is your biggest asset as a new entrepreneur so here's how you can make the most of what you have.
1) Working in blocks. One great way to ramp up productivity is to work in blocks of time. You pick one or two tasks that you want to complete in the specific block of time that you have e.g. 60 minutes and work on it until it’s done. This is much more effective than sitting down and working non stop for the whole day when inevitably distraction sets in and its impossible to be productive for huge lengths of time like that.
A great tool to assist you with working in blocks is the Pomodoro App or you can use an online version like this one. Don’t forget to factor in breaks when you are working for larger blocks of time.
2)) Batching like tasks Contrary to what you might be led to believe, multi-tasking is terrible for productivity. When you try to multi task and switch from task to task you actually get LESS done. In fact, multi tasking is believed to reduce productivity by around 40%. When you constantly switch between different types of tasks it takes your brain 23 minutes to get back fully focused on the original task. Just think of all the wasted time that results in. One way to overcome this is to batch similar tasks together e.g client calls on certain days to avoid this context switching (jumping from task to task which is known to reduce productivity). I have different days to focus on different tasks, client calls on certain days, content creation, emailing my list and other similar "creation" focused tasks are done when I work best and feel at my most creative - usually in the morning just after my morning routine).
3) Focused work during set hours - The great thing about using a timer app like above is that it keeps you more focused. As well as the timer, it’s essential to instil the personal discipline to make sure that you are not allowing yourself to get distracted. It’s so easy to go onto Facebook and go down the cat video rabbit hole or get distracted by what others are doing.
If you’re struggling with the self discipline to do this, try using a desktop tool to help you like this one.
4) Spend your time on revenue generating activties. It’s so easy to spend your time on busy work and procrasti-learning and before you know it the whole day has gone. Take some time to identify the money making taks in your business and spend your most productive part of the day focusing only on the money-making tasks in your business and reducing or outsourcing the others. Step away from the millionth tweak to your website and focus on the 20% of actions that bring 80% of the results.
5) Leverage your time by creating a simple easy to implement sales funnel that brings calls to your dairy and takes the grunt work out of bringing ideal clients to you. However, be aware that this can be a time suck in the beginning of your business if you are trying to do it yourself and there is a learning curve so I would suggest to work with a Coach on this. You can book a call with me to find out how I can help you implement a simple sales funnel in your business.
6) Incorporating self-care into each day. Productivity occurs when you feel at your best each day and are fresh and energised to show up fully in your biz so make sure that you build an element of self care into your day. This can be something as simple as starting your day with a morning routine, going for a walk after a long day or taking some time out to meditate. You can find out more about creating a morning routine here.
You don't have to work all the hours in the day to get results. Identify your key tasks and get focused on those. If possible outsource the tasks that don't make you money so you can focus on money-making tasks and client care and self care.
Which number do you need to focus on?

3 Keys to Make Better Decisions in Your Business
Want to know the skill that Mark Zuckerberg and Steve Jobs have in common that makes them super productive? And the skill that Napolean Hill recommended successful people hone? This blog post shares exactly that. Yes decision making is a key skill to develop as a new entrepreneur. So if you are a new online Coach/Service-Based Entrepreneur who wants to start their business then don't miss this.
3 Keys to Make Better Decisions in Your Business
Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will. We’ve all heard that saying right?
And its true. Doubt does kill a lot of dreams but you know what kills just as many?
INDECISION.
Yes, all that to-ing and fro-ing with your business and business idea.
❌ “Maybe I should give it a go but maybe it's safer to stay where I am.”
❌ “Maybe i'll get started in the new year/when i've got my next bonus/when the kids start nursery/when i've moved house (you get the idea).”
❌ “Maybe i'll invest in myself or maybe I should try and figure things out on my own first.”
These are some of the thoughts that keep us in indecision and stop us from moving forward because so often staying stuck is an easier option as we don’t have to commit to anything.
Yes it's scary making a commitment and a decision because that means you actually have to get out of your comfort zone and DO the thing.
But without that you stay stuck in your current reality and don't take a step towards your dreams - still feeling stagnant in no mans land.
Honing your decision making skills is one of the key things to do as an entrepreneur. Napolean Hill says in Think & Grow Rich
““Successful people make decisions quickly and change their minds slowly””
Each time you make a decision you take a step forward. When you are moving forward is when you make progress.
Delay the decisions, delay the progress.
Decision making is so important in fact, Mark Zuckerberg is famously known to wear the same t-shirt every day to avoid decision fatigue and to focus his energy on the more important decisions at work. The same was true for Steve Jobs of Apple.
So how do you get better at making decisions? Here’s 3 tips to set you on your way.
Get used to following the fear.
Often we delay a decision because we are scared or second guessing the outcome but that is often precisely what we need to do to get out of our comfort zone.
Check in with yourself that it’s not the fear voice talking and take action. Get into the habit of asking yuourself where the indecision is coming from. Is it because you genuinely don’t know or is it because you are refraining from making the decision due to some underlying fear?
2. Actively build your decision making muscle.
Start bringing awareness to how you make decisions.
Do you decide quickly or do you need to talk through with 20 different people and write 6 pages of pros and cons.
If it’s the latter start practising better decision making. Start with the small things and build up the muscle from there. A small thing you can start with for example is being more decisive with what you want to eat when you go to a restaurant when you typically take a long time. Instead of “I don’t know what to eat?”, “what are you having?” conversations make the decision quicker.
Apply this principle to other smaller decisions you make so that you will build up to making quicker decisions.
So have a think right now. Where do you take forever to make a decision that you can start practing this exercise on?
3. Learn to trust your intuition.
Many times we already know what the right decision is for us intuitively but we drown this out to be more practical or realistic or not to “act on a whim” only to look back with hindsight and say “I knew I should have done that”. Get used to listening to the inner voice and get confident following it.
If you’re not able to access your intuition at the moment then start getting into the habit today of listening. Your intuition can’t be heard if you don’t listen to it. Spend a little bit of quiet time each day pay attention to what your intuition is saying. Incorporate a meditation practice in your to silence the inner critic and the negative thoughts so you can hear your intuition better.
Being decisive and honing your decision making ability is a wonderful skill and one that will serve you well if you take time to develop it.
So today let me ask you this?
❓Where are you letting your indecision stop you from moving forward towards your dreams and desires?
❓What one decision, have you been holding off on, which if you made today, would make the biggest impact for you when it comes to making your business happen?

How to Create a Success Mindset as a New Entrepreneur
You may have heard the phrase that "success is 80% mindset" and that is absolutely true. Working on your mindset is one of the best things you can do as a new Coach/Online Service-Based Entrepreneur. As a Mindset & Business Coach for Female Entrepreneurs, this is exactly what I help my clients with. This post shares how to do that for you.
How to Create a Success Mindset as a New Entrepreneur
On doing the work every single day.
There is no substitute for this. My daily mindset work is non-negotiable. That means fitting it in no matter what.
Even on the days when you don’t feel like it. When it’s an early start or when you’re “just not in the mood”. Today I’m in London for a business event which meant a super early train. The first thing I put in my bag for the journey was my journal.
It’s easy to make excuses. “It’s an early start”.
“I can use a little more sleep on the train”.
“Maybe I can just skip it for one day”. But that’s not how habits work. To become a habit they must be engrained with discipline.
Practiced and redone until it becomes second nature.
I’m so glad I stuck with my mindset routine and habits. It’s made me realize the true power that we have in our mind and how harnessing it on a daily basis can create incredible changes.
I now barely recognize myself from the stuck and unfulfilled Employee I was just a few years ago and I credit so much of this to the mindset work I’ve done.
More importantly, I’ve been stripping away decades and centuries of cultural conditioning telling me what I can and can’t do as a woman. THIS work can have a multi-generational impact and that’s what I fully intend to do with it.
If you want to create a mindset routine here are a few quick tips.
1️⃣ start small and build - rather than go all in one day with two hours and then nothing for weeks start small with 5/10 mins a day and build on that when you have created the consistency.
2️⃣ creating a new habit can take a little time. Anything upwards of 30 days depending on what you’re trying to change. Commit to sticking with it. Use a habit tracker to help you stay on track.
3️⃣ have fun with it! You’re doing this to create better practices and ultimately a better life so let loose a little. Set yourself challenges to keep it up, build in rewards, get your friends involved. Keep it fun and interesting for yourself and you’re more likely to stick with it.
I’m going to be sharing so much more on this so stay tuned.
But for now, tell me do you have a mindset routine? What are you like sticking with it - come on be honest
